I agree with you Lou. I deleted FB from my phone back in 2016. I removed FB messenger back in 17 and I sold my remaining position in the stock in March. Now when I do check in on it I’m simply reminded why I don’t get value any longer. I used it for events and its so much of a “pay-to-play” that email marketing is still more efficient. The creep-factor, privacy issues, and FB’s handling of content authenticity all left a bad taste in my mouth and I saw my social graph’s engagement waning…

All of that said, I use WhatsApp and IG daily and over in Europe where I am right nowWhatsApp utilization is super high, even a standard for communication I would say. I suspect you are right about why they can’t break these numbers out yet. They might be super compelling in isolation but compared to the land mass of FB proper, the market would realize they have no growth engine to replace a waning core platform yet.

FWIW — I’d pay for both FB and WA pro or ad-free versions if it came to that.
